People are often surprised I shop at Target or any big departments

As a fashionista, I guess I am expected to shop where no one else does!

But I will admit that shopping at low-cost department stores often lead to trials and tribulations.

You have to go through a lot of:

“this looks awful”

To find that unexpected gem.

I recently uploaded a video to my Facebook page:

At work today my boyfriend screenshots me a pick of a lace pencil skirt on sale at Target

and tells me to stop and pick it up on the way home…

 “You know you have a great man when she shops for you!”

Into the Dressing Room I Go!

You can tell by my expression- I wasn’t to pleased haha!

I was so excited for this skirt- but it didn’t fit right.

It sat too low on my waist.

It fit on the hips; but I had wayyy too much room around my waist.

Curvy girl problems….

I am not paying $16.09 for a skirt.. and then have to pay the same amount to fix it.

….

I also found some other cute items- another pencil skirt.

I didn’t take any pictures of this one- it looked too ridiculous haha!

It had the opposite fit compared to the one above.

It fit in the waist but not in the hips.

My hips were so squished down… that I looked the same width all the way down.

“hey! where did my curves go?!”

….

Last but not least.. I spied a lace jumpsuit

I seen it before but I had mentally decided that a jumpsuit wasn’t meant for a girl with hips.

I was surprised. It didn’t look that bad!

I mentally pictured a belt around my waist… and I could almost imagine it as a great

Christmas office party outfit

or with a blazer .. a typical day at the office!

…

I left the jumpsuit behind today.

But I’m wondering Baby T Beauties.

Do you think I should go back and buy it?!
